Service on the move...

Engineering Services has now moved to a new space on the Elizabeth Street side of the P1 car park to enable the P1 and P3 car parks to be connected. Public access to the new basement level office is via lifts 12 and 13 on the ground floor of the Caroline Chisholm building, or via B lifts 14 and 15 on the main hospital concourse.

From Monday 28 September

A temporary extension of the current construction zone adjacent to the Burnside Drive roundabout will see the narrowing of the bridge entry/exit lanes and speed limit reduction to 20km/h in this area. Please exercise caution in response to the changed traffic conditions.

Until Friday 2 October

A temporary extension to the construction zone in the Entrance G car park will require Patient Transport vehicles to utilise the P3 drop-off area during this time. Patient parking will be reduced by one accessible parking space in this car park for the duration of works.

Ongoing

Works within the P1 car park will require closure of the P1 entry ramp off Elizabeth Street between 8pm and 6am, seven days a week. Diversions will be in place to direct vehicles to the P2 car park via Campbell Street and Burnside Drive. P3 car park access via Burnside Drive is also available.

Ongoing

The installation of temporary fencing and hoarding around construction zones in the hospital's P1 and P3 car parks will result in a reduction of available car parking spaces. Visitors using these areas may also experience dust, noise and vibration as a result of service relocation works, construction materials handling and related ongoing works. Learn more about the scope of these works.

Ongoing

Construction within the basement level of the new and old clinical services buildings will see regular drilling works conducted between the hours of 6am to 10am, Monday to Saturday, and intermittently between 6pm and 10pm, resulting in high-level noise and vibration.
