Opening doors into the construction industry

Our project builder, Lendlease, recently supported One Training’s Digital Walkabout program, which aims to help First Nations people by providing them with essential employment skills, specialised training, and pathways to employment opportunities.

During the program, 10 participants were taken on a tour of the LHAP construction site, hosted by Construction Manager Sebastian Bartholomeusz. They learnt about the various roles required to build a hospital and had many questions about the project timeline, management of works when an existing hospital is involved, and various trade roles.
