Following the Premier’s announcement on Thursday 28 July that the current Public Health Orders will remain in place until at least Friday 27 August, redevelopment construction activity is currently on hold. As a result of the extended pause on construction, the planned Entrance B stair closure and other foyer works that were scheduled for August will be postponed until restrictions are lifted. During this time, the LHAP team continues to work with facility staff to progress design finalisation and planning for main works construction commencement, helping to minimise impact to the project timeline. Some project team members have also been redeployed to assist the District’s COVID-19 response team.
