Stage 2 works are scheduled for completion in 2027. Key features include:

• New integrated services building including:
  • New inpatient units
  • Integrated cancer centre including the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) Oasis Wellness Centre
  • Increased women’s and children’s ambulatory care
  • Enhanced corporate support services.

Refurbishment works
Refurbishment works will be staggered across both Stage 1 and Stage 2 of main works in order to minimise disruption to the facility. The works in this package include upgrades and refurbishment of the following areas:

• Surgical short stay unit
• Operating theatres
• Interventional radiology
• Intensive Care Unit
• Emergency Department.
