With the commissioning of the first phase of the Liverpool Hospital redevelopment in 2024, senior leaders and “superusers” will play a leading role in the transition of patients, staff and the community into the new building. Hospital Acting General Manager Scott McGrath welcomed the start of the operational commissioning phase of the redevelopment. “This phase will ensure that all staff and departments as well as patients and the community are fully prepared to move into the new building,’’ he said. Commissioning Manager Natalie Irwin led an inaugural session for staff, providing an overview of the roles and responsibilities of senior staff and super users. What is a super user? A super user is dedicated to providing support to their department to ensure a smooth transition into their new workspace when the building opens to the public in 2024.
