From Monday 26 October to Thursday 19 November, works to construct a new hospital road connecting Burnside Drive and Elizabeth Street will see temporary closure of the eastern end of Elizabeth Street, impacting both pedestrian and vehicle access to Entrance E, F and G, specifically Renal Isolation Dialysis and Transit Lounge.

As part of early works, relocation of the Coregas oxygen vessel is required. The tank will be moved from its current location near the P2 car park to a new location near Entrance G of the hospital between 7am to 3pm Wednesday 17 June*. The Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct project has progressed to the second stage of early works, with a range of construction and refurbishment activity being delivered by Multiplex. Completion of this stage is expected in early 2021.
Works to prepare the site are continuing on campus and along surrounding streets, with stormwater, sewer and service upgrade activities scheduled to take place until late August 2020. This will include some night works between now and mid July.
